Visual impairment is understood in blindness and low vision and children with this condition need an intervention of physiotherapy that is essential and of great importance, because it expands their chances of having a normal life. The aim of this study was to verify the importance of physiotherapy intervention in children with Visual impairment. This is a bibliographic review and for obtaining the articles, we used the virtual databases SCIELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences), PEDro (Physiotherapy Evidence Database), Google scholar, Google sites and PubMed. The intervention of physiotherapy will promote the motor and cognitive development of children with Visual impairment, making them as close as possible to normal standards, facilitating adaptations.
