NEURAL MOBILIZATION IN THE LUMBOSACATALGIA

Resumen

Neural mobilization is a technique developed from the sum of new knowledge such as neurobiology, biomechanics and pathophysiology of neural tissue, based on the restoration of the elastic movement of the nervous system, which promotes the return to normal functions. In addition, it has been used by physiotherapists as a method of evaluation and treatment in the various pathologies that affect the nervous system and its structures. The objective of this study was to verify the effects of neural mobilization in the treatment of lumbosacatalgia. The method used to develop this study was through a literary review, of a qualitative nature and explanatory level. Studies have shown that the use of neural mobilization had positive effects in reducing the symptomatology and the functional gain in the lumbosacatalgia. However, current studies in this field are needed to find more evidence of the use of the technique, giving practitioners a safer and more effective practice.
