Resumen

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the most common causes of infection in the general population. It is more prevalent in females, but also affects male patients mainly when associated with urinary tract manipulation and prostate disease. They are classified into four major groups: urethritis, cystitis, bladder infection, acute urethral syndrome, and pyelonephritis infections that affect the kidneys. The prevalence of urinary tract infections varies mainly with gender and age of the patients and may be symptomatic or asymptomatic. This article aims to analyze the constant use of antibiotics and the incidence of urinary tract infections in patients from the FHP's Antônio Carlos and Maria José, in the municipality of Caraí / MG in order to verify the appropriate or inappropriate use by patients, and whether there was an improvement or not in the clinical picture, investigating assiduity regarding the medical prescription to the drug use, in order to verify if there is incidence of the pathology in the patients and to evaluate the effectiveness of antibiotic therapy in urinary infection in the patients of the PSF's. At the end of this study, after evaluating the data collected here, it was observed that urinary tract infection has been an unpleasant partner of female patients, between 18 and 30 years old with the school level of the 1st to 4th grade. Cephalexin, Ciprofloxacin and Nitrofurantoin were the most commonly used antibiotics, but it was noted during the analysis of the antibiotics used by the patients that in the first infection the doctor was asked to receive an antibiotic, but From the first reinfection, patients sought other incorrect methods such as asking their friends for advice on the best medicine, reaching the pharmacy and asking the pharmacist which medicine would improve the patient's condition, and when directed by the pharmacist, he would sell him the antibiotic. Without the recipe.
