Abstract

Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare dermatological disease of genetic origin, also known as “butterfly skin” due to its characteristic factor such as erosions and blisters on the skin, which make it extremely fragile. It aims to: discuss nursing care with Bullous Epidermolysis. This is a descriptive literature review study that discussed nursing care with Bullous Epidermolysis. Within the scope of the assistance to be provided by the nursing team, some care must be taken, such as avoiding trauma, friction and pressure, especially in the areas of support and bony prominences, as well as wearing clothes with a front zip, which facilitates the removal, without labels or with the seam facing outwards, to avoid friction on the skin. Through all the content presented, it is possible to realize that nursing care is of paramount importance in the life of the patient with Bullous Epidermolysis, due to the care with the injuries caused on the skin, especially the external ones, and, with that, treating them, easing the pain in the patient's life. Thus, if the patient is diagnosed early in life, his injuries may decrease over time and consequently bring a better life.
