DETECÇÃO E ANÁLISE DE LESÕES DO PERIÁPICE EM RADIOGRAFIAS PERIAPICAIS

O estudo teve como objetivo determinar a prevalência de lesões periapicais em relação às arcadas dentárias e correlacionar a ocorrência dessas lesões em dentes não tratados endodonticamente e em dentes que já receberam intervenção endodôntica. Para isso, foi realizado um estudo observacional e transversal com exames de imagem obtidos na consulta de triagem da clínica de odontologia da faculdade de Odontologia de uma universidade pública em Belém, no decorrer de 2022 e no primeiro semestre de 2023. Foram analisados 4.492 exames de imagem, dos quais 4.423 foram excluídos, resultando em uma amostra final de 95 exames. A partir desses exames, foram coletadas informações sobre os pacientes, incluindo gênero e idade, além da caracterização das lesões quanto ao contorno (regular ou irregular). A calibração do avaliador foi verificada por meio do coeficiente Kappa. Para o processamento dos dados, foram utilizados os programas Jamovi (versão 1.1.9; Oxford, Reino Unido) e Excel.
