Buildings are designed to last for several years, however, due to lack of maintenance, and poor quality of materials used in construction, changes in urban characteristics and many other factors, the useful life is reduced several times, and thus, the durability of buildings ends up being impaired mainly due to the action of chlorines and carbonates present in water and cementitious compounds. For this reason, the present work aimed to investigate and relate concrete produced with the incorporation of waste and its durability in relation to chlorines through a bibliographic review.
